Unique New York: Lists Exhibit at The Morgan Library

If you've never been to The Morgan Library in Midtown, Manhattan it's a must visit.  Pierpont Morgan, whose library and house makes up a large part of the museum, was, as one of my friends put it, "a straight baller."  Honestly, that's a very accurate assessment and you can measure his baller-ness by visiting the museum.  It's shocking how much marble can fit in to a foyer.  In addition to Morgan's house and library there are traveling and changing exhibits on display.  The newest one, which starts today, is entitled, "Lists: To-dos, Illustrated Inventories, Collected Thoughts, and Other Artists' Enumerations from the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art."  The exhibit will show off interesting lists from all manner of artists including Pablo Picasso.  Sounds like a good way to take a close look at the thoughts of some pretty interesting people.
