Crash Brings a Colorful Popeye to Bowery and Houston

The latest mural at the Bowery and Houston mural space is a huge pop of color and fun.  Not that previous murals haven't been colorful, but they've followed a set color theme.

used red, white and blue, but this new Crash piece incorporates the whole rainbow and features one of my personal favorite childhood cartoons- Popeye.  The mural is part American style cartoon, part Japanese style anime and a touch of Lichtenstein pop art.  It all blends together perfectly to create the a vibrant backdrop for your spring East Village adventures.  Check it out below.
