Gizmodo Gallery Nerf Battle and The Range Rover Evoque

Whoever had the idea to give people free beer and Nerf guns in the same location is probably a genius. Those geniuses happen to work for Gizmodo, a tech blog that has opened a Pop-Up space in the White Box Gallery (called Gizmodo Gallery) which is open until the 11th of December.

Last night they held a Nerf gun war, for adults, in which close to 100 people waited outside in the rain just to participate. Needless to say, it was an epic battle. Armed with beer from Brooklyn Brewery and trusty Nerf guns, people were getting served left and right. We don't remember Nerf guns having this kind of power...and they were loaded with hard little discs as opposed to the foam balls of yore. We also got a look at the new 2012 Range Rover Evoque, which at first I shrugged off as a BMW X3 wanna-be, but after reading more about it I was behind the program. More about the Evoque below.

And now onto the Evoque. It looks totally different from any Range Rover I've even seen, and that's because it is. It's the most fuel efficient Range Rover ever, and uses recycled plastics in it's construction. It's smaller and lighter, but still luxurious, and tech savvy with it's "Say What You See" voice recognition system. Range Rover has definitely gone green with this one. Photos below.
