Field Trip: Solifestyle Visits the Logan Zane Factory

Somewhere amidst the rows of warehouses and factories of Long Island City, Logan Zane's leather goods are being hand crafted using tanned Italian leather.  It all started because the brand's founder Greg wanted to make something cool for himself.  He wanted a bag that was a perfect match to his style, so he had a sample made.  Needless to say that sample caught on, his friends wanted bags, and so did some emerging celebrities.  Soon he was working with established retailers in Brooklyn and attending trade shows to promote and sell the Logan Zane brand.

Cut to last month when we discovered the awesome line of Logan Zane camouflage leather goods at Capsule NY.  After chatting with some people from the LZ team we were able to drop by their workshop to get hands on with their products and see what Logan Zane is up to.

While touring the space with Greg, we got to see material choices in progress, belts freshly assembled and their whole camouflage accessory range- everything is top quality and really cool. Each piece is fashionable without being too trendy, and Logan Zane's items can be used year after year. Best of all, the camo leather ages really nicely and the pieces look even cooler with a little wear.  Take a look at the pics below, and drop by the Logan Zane website to get shopping. Oh, and make sure to send us a pic of how awesome your bag looks 3 years from now!
