When I was browsing through Polyvore one day, I was taken aback by jewelry by Assad Mounser, who happens to be a New York-based designer. Although relatively new to the fashion scene, Mounser's work has already been featured in editorials by W, Nylon, Vogues all over the world, and many more.

She's been creating jewelry since 2009, and is inspired by the glam rock culture of the 1970s. Mounser specializes in merging natural, organic materials with harder elements like metal and chains, which creates a unique aesthetic and stand-out pieces. Her jewelry ranges from about $125 to $425, which is pretty reasonable in my opinion, considering they look much more expensive. Pick some up here.
