Comic Con: Where subcultures collide. There is no better example of a gathering that includes diehard fans with so many interests- from DIY enthusiasts, to collectors of books and toys, to fans of video games, models and comics. Today was the first day of New York Comic Con 2012 and on the opening night, only press, exhibitors and four day pass holders were allowed to visit, which means only the most diehard nerds (including us) were present. Our hopes were high to see some of everything on opening night and we were not disappointed. Check out our highlights below and stay tuned for more coverage this weekend!
