Housing Works Fashion for Action Charity Sale and Reception 2012
One of our favorite charity events of the year is Fashion for Action. Presented by Housing Works, Fashion for Action brings the fashion community together with New Yorkers eager to shop for a good cause. Thom Browne, one of our favorite designers and founder of the New York City based brand that bears his name, will be returning as Event Chair and the opening party will include drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and of course first pick of the items for sale.
Over 250 brands will be participating in the shopping portion of the event to benefit Housing Works' cause of ending homelessness and AIDS through advocacy and providing lifesaving services for the affected community. All of the items for sale are heavily discounted and come from names like DVF, Tom Ford, Burberry and Marc Jacobs. Count us in! Opening reception tickets can be purchased here. Then, on November 8th to 11th, the sale will open to the public at the Housing Works Chelsea Store. Maybe we'll see you there!
