Rediscover Your Imagination at The World Maker Faire 2012
Yeah, you don't need to tell us, Queens is really far away and sometimes you've wanted to go but you've never really made it there. We've spoken to lots of NYCers who've told us that story, but if there was one weekend to get your a$$ out to New York's largest borough it's this one. This Saturday and Sunday The World Maker Faire is making its return to the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Park.
The Maker Faire is a chance to feel like a kid again and kick your imagination back into gear. The faire is a gathering of DIY innovators from all fields- tech, fashion and food to name a few. Over 500 exhibitors will be on site and larger events like Power Wheels races (yes, those cars you wish you had when you were 6) and Coke Zero/Mentos explosion demonstrations will definitely be worth seeing.
If you can't make it out, we'll be there to bring you coverage next week. If you can, grab your tickets in advance here.
