In a world where collaboration is increasingly boring rather than a fresh burst of the unexpected, the newly released A.P.C. x Vanessa Seward capsule collection brings hope back to our jaded New York selves. The capsule collection takes the same high quality A.P.C. fabrics and construction that we love and combines them with cuts and colors that are slightly more girly and glamorous than the French brand's usual minimal-chic garments.
On Tuesday night, we stopped by the A.P.C. Vanessa Seward launch party at NYC's West Village A.P.C. store for drinks and a look at the line which featured sparkling gold and silver lame dresses ($810), patent leather heels ($500) and floral print shirts ($515). The staff was decked out in the colorful collection giving shoppers inspiration for their own outfits. While we were there, the collaboration, especially the red and blue printed tops, were flying off of the shelves.
Take a look at photos from the event below, and if you see something you like, you can pre-order the collection here or pick it up at your nearest A.P.C. location.
