Block party evokes an image of hanging out on your stoop, but trust us, The Horticultural Society's party is several rungs higher on the awesome ladder. The event will revolve around a silent art auction and rooftop soiree at the Central Park Arsenal that benefits the HSNY's GreenHouse program which provides vocational training and horticultural therapy to inmates on Rikers Island. As if the DJ Dub-L, MC Miss Info, rooftop chilling and an open bar weren't enough, street art giants KAWS and HAZE (as well as many other artists) have contributed original works to the auction!
